Madan Mahal Fort

Madan Mahal is an ancient locality of Garha. The fort was the resting palace of the 10th Gond Kind Madan Singh. Madan mahal fort was built about 1100 A.D. It is a very plain and simple structure. Palace stands on a single stone on the summit of a hill which commands a magnificent view over the rich valley around.

Bargi Dam Location : Bargi Dam is located on the Jabalpur - Nagpur NH - 7 highway. About 40 kms / 45 mins. from Jabalpur city, Tourist Destination Bargi Dam is built on Narmada river. Tourists can enjoy water-sports in Bargi Dam. It is one of the first completed Dam in chain of 30 proposed dams to be built on Narmada river. Its reserved water is used for Hydropower generation and irrigation purpose. Construction of Bargi Dam started on 1974 and completed on year 1990.

High Court

The Jabalpur High Court is a high court having jurisdiction over the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh since 1956. It was established on 1November 1956. Madhya Pradesh originally created as central province on 2 November 1861,as judicial commissions territory. The judicial Commissioners court at Nagpur was the highest court at that time and got converted to Governor's province in 1921.
